Please first check whether the "Dynamic Starting Points" function is active.
If this function is active, the robotic lawnmower automatically sets starting points strategically distributed throughout the lawn.
These starting points are regularly and automatically adjusted to the needs and growth rate of the lawn to ensure an even lawn cut.
If the "Dynamic Start Points" are activated, the robotic lawnmower automatically navigates to the respective areas and starts the mowing cycle there.
Please note that this function cannot be used at the same time as the manual start points.
If the "Dynamic starting points" are deactivated and the robotic lawnmower does not approach the manual starting points, please check the following conditions on site.
If the LED lights up permanently green, but the robotic lawnmower does not approach the selected starting points, a malfunction in the guide cable could be the cause.
To check this, please swap the connections between guide wire 1 or 2 and boundary wire on the left or right of the connected charging station.
If the LED is now flashing blue, please check the following points:
- The guide cable is not properly connected to the charging station. Please check the connection terminal.
- The connector between the guide wire and the boundary wire is not installed properly. Please check the connector and press it down with suitable pliers.
- The guide cable is damaged. Please check the guide cable and/or re-lay it.
If the issue is still not resolved, please proceed as follows.
Please check that the installation has been carried out in accordance with the user manual.
Make sure there is at least 2 meters of free space in front of the charging station.
In addition, a distance of 60 cm between the two boundary wires (see sketch) and a distance of 30 cm between the boundary wire and the guide wire must be maintained.
Use the following sketch to check whether the distance between the boundary wire (B) and the starting point (A) on the guide wire is at least 60 cm. In order to achieve the widest possible guidance corridor, we recommend a distance (W) of at least 135 cm. Please note that the starting point (A) is set to 60 cm at the factory. If the charging station of the robotic lawnmower is located in a passage, we would like to point out that the starting point (A) can be set to a maximum of 3 m. You can find more detailed information about the starting point in the user manual.
With regard to further installation in general, the distance between the boundary wires must not be less than the specified 60 cm distance. The minimum distance of 30 cm from the guide cable to the boundary wires must also not be undercut.
If you have excluded obstacles in your garden with the boundary wire, make sure that the guide wire does not cross the boundary wires (see sketch).
Hint:
The robotic lawnmower does not cross a passage. Detailed information on the minimum passage width can be found in your user manual.
