Note:
In general, it should be mentioned in this topic that a robotic lawnmower does not always have to park straight. If the robotic lawnmower does not park straight, this does not necessarily mean that another fault will occur or be the reason for this.
If the robotic lawnmower is charging in the charging station even though it may not have just docked, there is technically no fault in the true sense of the word, as the robotic lawnmower is charging as intended.
The "not parking straight" can have several causes, please check the following conditions on site.
- Installation:
> Check the wiring on and around the charging station.
To ensure that the robotic lawnmower can always dock reliably to the charging station, it is essential to follow the instructions for installing the charging station in the operating instructions. If the boundary wire is routed directly past the side of the charging station, a minimum distance of 60 cm is required between the boundary wires. Neither the boundary wire nor the low voltage cable may be laid under the charging station. The low voltage cable must also not be rolled up behind the charging station. This can lead to interference with the charging station signals.
> If the charging station is positioned at the end of a short corridor, in addition to the above specifications, it must be ensured that the starting point (A), which can be set to a maximum distance of 3 m in the menu, is located on the area to be mowed. In addition, a minimum distance (B) of at least 60 cm is required between the boundary wire and the guide wire. If this distance is too small, successful guide wire calibration is not possible and there will be restrictions when using the remote start points.
> If you have laid the guide wire at the charging station under stone slabs or wood, please lay it above ground in the area of the charging station to generate a stronger signal. Then please put the robotic lawnmower back into operation.
- Interference:
> Metallic objects
Please check that there are no metallic objects in the immediate vicinity of the charging station (approx. 1 meter radius). Interference can be caused, for example, by a self-built robotic lawnmower garage, metal fences, ventilation grilles, etc. If this is the case, we recommend that you first remove these or choose a different, "metal-free" location for the charging station.
> Radio units
Please check whether the charging station is located near or as the crow flies between the transmitter and receiver of various radio units. These could be radio-controlled sockets or electric gates, for example. If this is the case, please switch these units off once for test purposes or change their location or that of the charging station if necessary.
- The robotic lawnmower is not parking and is not charging. Non-charging" can be recognized by the fact that the robotic lawnmower does not leave the charging station for the next scheduled mowing cycle.
> The reason for this could be that there is insufficient contact between the charging contacts of the robotic lawnmower and the charging station. Please clean the charging contacts of the robotic lawnmower and the charging station with fine emery paper or steel wool. Then wet the charging contacts with a contact spray or commercially available machine or lubricating oil/grease (e.g. battery grease). The aim of this measure is to protect the charging contacts even better against environmental influences (corrosion) and to ensure correct charging.
Tip:
If you have checked the above points and the robotic lawnmower still does not park straight, we recommend removing the guide wire from the clips on the charging station and attaching it to the ground slightly offset under the charging station (see example images). You are welcome to use the hooks supplied to attach the guide cable. The guide cable should be laid as straight as possible along the floor to the rear. By repositioning the guide wire under the charging station, the robotic lawnmower is "pulled" into the correct position and should now park straight.

If the previous points have not led to success, please contact our service department and send us a short video of a parking process in which we can also see the surroundings of the charging station (no close-up of the robotic lawnmower). Please make sure that the maximum file size of 20 MB is not exceeded.
