Please check whether the charging station is supplied with power. The power supply unit may not be plugged into the socket or it may not be supplied with power (fuse).
Please check which color the control LED of the charging station is lit or flashing.
- LED off
> See FAQ "Charging station LED indicator light does not light up".
- LED flashes blue
Possible causes:
> The boundary wire is damaged (see FAQ "How do I find a break/fault in the boundary or guide wire?")
> The boundary wire is not properly connected to the charging station.
> Connector between the guide wire and boundary wire not installed correctly.
- LED flashes green
> Eco mode is activated. Please place the robotic lawnmower in the charging station and deactivate ECO mode; this depends on the model and can be found in the operating instructions.
- LED lights up green.
> The reason for this could be that there is insufficient contact between the charging contacts of the robotic lawnmower and the charging station. Please clean the charging contacts of the robotic lawnmower and the charging station with fine emery paper or steel wool. Then wet the charging contacts with a contact spray or commercially available machine or lubricating oil/grease (e.g. battery grease). The aim of this measure is to protect the charging contacts even better against environmental influences (corrosion) and to ensure correct charging.
> If it is not possible to transmit the signal, please use a multimeter to check the output voltage (DC voltage) on the following components (if it is not possible to measure the voltage, please skip to the next point):
> the output voltage at the transformer
> the voltage at the end of the low-voltage cable
> the voltage at the charging contacts of the charging station
Please refer to the rating plate of your transformer under Output voltage to find out which voltage must be present.
If the specified output voltage is not supplied at the respective measuring points, please replace the defective component.
- If you are unable to check the voltages, please connect the transformer directly to the charging station without the low-voltage cable and check whether the loop signal can now be transmitted.
If this is the case, please replace the low-voltage cable.

On these models, the charging station charging plates may have bent outwards (away from the mower) over time. Please check the charging plates as described and straighten them if necessary.
Also check whether the fastening screws of the loading plates (Torx 20) are well tightened. If necessary, please tighten them hand-tight.
If the source of the fault has not yet been determined with the points listed so far, all individual components must be checked. We therefore recommend that you contact GARDENA Service.
