To replace the battery, follow the instructions below. (You can also find more information in your user manual. )
If the operating times of the robotic lawnmower become shorter than usual between charges, this is an indication that the battery is reaching the end of its service life and should be replaced if necessary.
The battery does not need to be replaced as long as the robotic lawnmower can still cut the lawn well.
Important information!
Always use original batteries. Compatibility with other batteries cannot be guaranteed.
Battery replacement SILENO, SILENO+, SILENO city, SILENO life
WARNING: The device must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds (SILENO,
SILENO+ the rocker switch on the battery cover to 0) to switch off the appliance. Make sure that the indicator light on the keypad is not lit.
- Set the cutting height on the SILENO city and life to MIN.
- Turn the device over and place it on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage to the housing and display housing.
- Wipe the area around the battery cover clean.
- Unscrew and remove the screws (Torx 20) of the battery cover.
- Release the lock on the connection terminal (A) and pull it upwards.
- Release the battery lock (SILENO city and life) and remove the battery (B).
- Insert the new battery into the device without pinching the cables.
- Connect the cable.
- Put on the battery cover and carefully tighten the cover screws (Torx 20).
Changing the SILENO minimo battery
WARNING: Do not touch the main circuit board!
Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to switch the device off. Make sure that the indicator light on the keypad is not lit.
- Turn the device over and place it on a soft, clean surface to avoid damaging the housing and the display housing.
- Remove the 10 screws (Torx 20) from the housing.
- Carefully lift the lower part of the housing and place it next to the upper chassis.
CAUTION: Be careful the cable of the mower motor is connected to the
connected to the main circuit board.
- Remove the battery holder screw
- Press the clips and remove the battery holder, remove the old battery.
- Disconnect the cable from the battery.
- Connect the cable of the new battery and insert the new battery into the holder.
- Replace the battery holder and secure it with the screw.
Changing the battery R38Li - R80Li
Set the main switch to position 0.
- Lower the cutting height to the lowest level and turn the robotic lawnmower over.
- Place the robotic lawnmower on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage to the housing and display cover.
- Wipe the area around the battery cover clean.
- Unscrew the four screws (Torx 20) of the battery cover and remove the cover. from model 2017
- Unscrew the screw (Torx 20) of the battery retaining clip and remove the clip.
- Pull out the battery by the strap.
- Insert a new original battery.
NOTE! To insert the battery, apply pressure to the contact, not to the battery pack itself.
- Replace the battery retaining clip and tighten the screw (Torx 20).
- Replace the battery cover.
- Tighten the four screws (Torx 20) of the battery cover again.
Set the cutting height to the desired level again.
